Sword Guide?
I'm looking for a guide that lists all the swords names and dmg (from least to greatest) and if possible images. I got a "Poisoner's Gladius of Warding sword Slashing Dmg: 15-22, Damage: 13% (While health is above 50%), and Armor +7", and I want to see what swords come after it in damage. Can anyone help me out?

all swords have a max damage of 15-22, regardless of type. they can all have an inherent damage mod (13>50 for your sword), and have changeable mods: a hilt and a pommel. your sword has a poisoner's hilt and a pommel of warding.

that is max damage so no sword comes after in damage. it does have damage +13% while health above 50%. You can get swords with damage +15% while health above 50% or whatever condition. then you can customize it for an extra damge +20% but thats it for damage unless you want specific elemental damage in which case you'll need a mod.

technically, you can get a better sword. you can get one with a damage mod of 15% while health > 50% and add a better hilt and a better pommel. mods can be salvaged using an expert salvage kit or bought from other players.
i'm guessing that this sword was given to you or bought. |

Yeah, my old guild was full of helpers and they liked making there members strong so they could have fun so they gave me the best sword in game then took me to get platemail armor.
Sadly the guildy who gave me the sword took it back and gave me the poisoner cause he said I couldn't have both it and the armor. The same person who gave me the sword and took it back also was the one to kick me from that guild. How much are we talkin' for these mods and wheres the best place to get them from players? |

Scroll down the main forum page and look in the Ventari's Sell forums. You can find nonperfect weapons (14>50, etc.) and mods for a decent price.

If it has no damage mod then it's not worth it to modify a plain white FDS. Go get a max collector's sword or a sword from Droknar's and mod that.

With regards to what mods to use, it is really more on YOUR preference. As Guild Wars was designed unlike other MMORPGs out there that they have to have specific items. Here it is basically what you need to complement your build. If you use enchantments then a mod that increases enchantment length is suited for you. If you like the Sever Artery skill so much then abuse it by attaching a Barbed mod on your sword which lenghtens bleeding duration on your foes. If you need information on what mods are available please click here |

You can't get rid of the Fiery part (the game won't let you), so add a Pommel.
